Double Differential Cross Sections for Scattering Of 137Cs Gamma Rays By Some Steel Alloys
Main Article Content
Abstract
Double differential scattering cross sections (DDCS) are valuable inputs for the calculation of Compton profiles of materials over any momentum transfer range. In this work, we report the DDCS values for three steel alloys of varying composition within the momentum transfer range 0-7 a.u. These values have been obtained from their single differential Compton scattering cross sections measured in a suitable goniometer set up with a hyper pure germanium detector for 137Cs gamma rays.
